I was picking up my children from school and it was a hot day. We came to a red light and while we were waiting, my daughter noticed an elderly street vendor selling flowers. He had no umbrella to shade him, he looked exhausted and was walking with a limp. He only had two bouquets left to sell, and we wanted to make sure he could go home quickly. We then proceeded to make a U-turn and give the man $40 to pay for his flowers and have a little extra to take home. He was hesitant to take the additional money at first but then so thankful for our act of kindness.— Julie, Santa Ana.
